Many days we walk around and do not even notice the true glory at our fingertips. Taking photos in a moment of inspiration of beauty, then painting it in in even more vivid color and imagination is may favorite way to remember how lucky we really are. Mixing the colors to perfection is one of the processes that I enjoy most about painting. The photos are interpreted to an imaginary level with beautiful, thought provoking color.

As a person who spent 24 years in the accounting world looking at black and white bottom lines and tax returns, the paintings are an illustration of the fabulous, inspiring views all around us. The exaggeration of color is meant to shock people into a state that will cause them to stand up, look around and see the beauty and inspiration that unfolds every day all day.
